I came back to drawing and painting after a 30 year break.

What started instinctively has returned with more intention.

My work is built from observation—often from my own photography—and shaped through a process of editing, restraint, and feel.

I’m drawn to the moments where light changes everything—sunrise, sunset—when color is at its most alive.

I work primarily in pastel and graphite, focusing on light, movement, and atmosphere.

Whether it’s the energy of the ocean in Nazaré or the stillness of a portrait, each piece is approached as a composition where every mark matters.

The signature is not added at the end—it’s placed as part of the composition itself.
